Deanna Belleny is the Program Manager for Systems Transformation. Deanna Belleny is a public health practitioner and registered dietitian from Houston, Texas. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Foods at the University of Houston and went on to complete a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health. Professionally, Deanna has worked in a variety of non-profit, academic, and government settings. Most recently, she managed one of the DSRIP 1115 Waiver Projects at Harris County Public Health. While at Harris County, she also helped launch the Public Health Innovations Lab, an accelerator program that fosters innovative and creative thinking for public health practice. Deanna is passionate about system-level changes that positively impact the health of minority and underserved communities. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling abroad, and practicing yoga.
