Christopher Muñoz

A patient advocate who started his work with people living with viral hepatitis under Yellow Warriors Society Philippines for more than a decade and now currently serving as their advisor. Expanding his role in patient advocacy, he is currently the VP of the Philippine Alliance of Patient Organizations. It is an umbrella group of disease specific patient groups which is focus more on health systems and health policy that deals with cross cutting issues of different patient groups. In 2019 he was nominated and was tasked to represent the civil society in the Health Technology Assessment Philippines. He is also on board of other advisory boards and is also currently part of the Regional Validation Committee of WHO. Wearing multiple hats, he hopes that his experience would contribute to better health policies that will lead to better health outcomes.
