Dru Ricci
Dru Ricci is a research assistant at the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care. Dru graduated from Duke University with a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Global Health. She is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Data Analysis through the Harvard Extension School.
Prior to this role, Dru was a research assistant at a substance abuse recovery community in Durham, North Carolina. There, she led an effort to use epidemiological methods to create COVID-19 protocols for quarantining and testing. She also conducted in-depth interviews with residents to write success stories. Dru also worked on the Community Engagement team of project connecting underserved communities in Durham County to COVID-19 testing, vaccinations, and educational resources. Her role in this project was connecting with minority health community-based organizations to incorporate the community’s voice into interventions at all levels.
