Rhea Racho, MPA
Rhea is a research assistant in the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her primary focus is supporting the Strengthening the Integrated Treatment and Care of Hepatitis (STITCH) program. Previously, Rhea worked with the Hepatitis B Foundation for nearly 7 years, where she directed national and international storytelling campaigns, led the development and implementation of grassroots advocacy efforts, and supported other public policy and patient/community engagement initiatives. Rhea also worked in state and community advocacy for 3+ years with the American Heart Association and served as an AmeriCorps Member with Habitat for Humanity in her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. Currently, Rhea also volunteers as an Advisory Council Member and Communications Director for New Pathways to Enterprise, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women achieve profitable, fulfilling livelihoods in the Philippines. Rhea has a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in International Studies from Baylor University.
