Travis Songer, MHA

Travis Songer (he/him/his) is the Associate Director, Grants and Finance for the Center. In this role, Travis supports and facilitates the Center’s fiscal management and strategic planning by providing comprehensive oversight of all sponsored awards and financial management functions.

Previously, Travis worked as the Manager in the Sponsored Programs Accounting Office at Brandeis University where he directed the day-to-day management of Brandeis’ $60 million research portfolio. Travis and his team were responsible for the timely completion of various grant activities including account set up, invoicing and draws, financial reporting, and closeouts.

Prior to his work at Brandeis University, Travis has held various financial and administrative roles in higher education intuitions including Olin College of Engineering, Boston College, and UMass Medical School. He holds a master's in health care administration and a bachelor's in business management.
